When we found out that Pablo was going to have to wear a helmet, we were a little worried, but the helmet is really easy to use, I didn't expect that.

This helmet is better tolerated and is more easily adjustable than the helmets we used before, which were thicker, difficult to adjust and heavy. [Before], to make sure that a child accepted [a traditional helmet] well, inner foam needed to be grinded or pads needed to be added which was challenging. I think, the MyCRO Band cranial orthosis is much better made thanks to 3D printing and it is more easily modified or adjustable by the CPO than the helmets we had before, which were rigid, heavy, thick. So it fulfills its mission and we can actually prescribe it more easily because it is well tolerated.

This helmet really is easier to fit

This helmet really is easier to fit. The fact that there is no foam inside the helmet reduces the need for frequent growth-related adjustments. It’s lined with a removable washable fabric, made of synthetic fibers, which has the advantage of being absorbent, considerably limiting skin reactions. And above all, it’s less thick [than traditional cranial orthoses]. That thickness can bother some little ones during naps or at night. Over-thickness in the neck [area] can cause the neck to bend, and cause discomfort.
